This is your chance to join the endpoint revolution.What are we looking for?SentinelOne is looking for a Vice President, Investor Relations to join our SentinelOne finance team. This role will report to the CFO and lead the strategy and development of our investor relations story to develop investor and analyst confidence and belief in our vision and strategy for delivering shareholder value. She/he will be a key advisor with our CEO, and our financial and executive leadership team. A background in technology, SaaS software and/or cybersecurity and experience leading investor relations through an IPO and for a publicly traded company will set you up for success. Coming off our recent fundraising, this is an exciting time for SentinelOne, and we are looking for the right leader to own our IR function and share our story. The position is located out of in our beautiful Mountain View, CA office.What Will You Do?Strategy* Develop a detailed knowledge of our business and execute a comprehensive, strategic investor relations program to increase SentinelOne’s visibility in the investment community and build and implement a targeted investor strategy for current and potential investors* Be an integral team member on an IPO* Continually refine key messaging and market positioning based on company performance, market perception, expectations, peer performance and relative valuation* Develop and provide counsel on key metrics, guidance progression and disclosure policies* Analyze internal and external forecasts, KPIs, and assumptions to provide aggregated view of expectations and implications for stock price and investor and analysts perception* Monitor analyst and peer estimates, consensus estimates, sell-side research, market-related trends, shareholder concerns and competitor actions that impact valuation and perception* Keep informed on relevant news flow and trends and communicate internally about competitive information* Support M&A activities across the finance function as neededRelationships* Collaborate cross-functionally to gain a deep understanding of our business. Work with finance, accounting, strategy, product and sales functions to understand and influence business trends and incorporate this understanding into strategy, external messaging and communications* Manage relationships and broaden exposure with sell-side analysts and investors* Advise on optimal communications for analysts and investors, including post-earnings call messaging* Regularly speak to investors and analysts on behalf of SentinelOne* Plan, manage and attend investor events, investor and analyst meetings, roadshows and conference calls and manage relationship with the stock exchange. This position will require occasional travelProcess* Craft and communicate messaging around financial results, strategy, growth opportunities and business initiatives to analysts, investors and proxy advisory firms* Manage the coordination and process for investor events, analyst and investor days, bus tours and quarterly earnings – preparation of materials including earnings conference call scripts, press releases, Q&A documents, investor decks and other associated materials for sell-side and buy-side post-earnings calls* Advise and update investor presentation and accompanying voiceover for investor conferences, 1×1 meetings and non-deal roadshows* Own IR website and corporate contentWhat skills and experience should you bring?* Minimum of 12+ years combined experience in an analyst or investor relations role* BS or BA in Business, Accounting, Finance or Economics required, MBA preferred* High integrity and a passion for our mission* Demonstrated understanding of Reg FD and other SEC disclosure rules and advanced sensitivity around material non-public information* Ability to work independently, set priorities, meet deadlines and resolve complex problems with a thorough understanding of the changing needs in a hyper growth business environment* Willingness to be flexible and adaptive in a highly dynamic environment* Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational skills and ability to prioritize and work independently* Ability to lead and operate in a fast-paced, flexible culture and excel under pressure while maintaining an accountable, collaborative, positive and pleasant attitude* Strong network within investor community including relationships with the buy-side and sell-side internet analysts* A leadership background in technology, SaaS software and/or cybersecurity and experience leading investor relations through an IPO and for a publicly traded company* Structured thinking: comfort with numbers, details, and ambiguity and a collaborative working style* Communication skills and presence: Ability to express oneself clearly and concisely with excellent written and verbal communications* Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet, word processing and presentation software; familiarity with IR-focused software and research tools* Enthusiasm or familiarity with internet, technology trends and startups* Demonstrated history of IR performance, onboarding top shareholders and stock appreciation* Equity research experience in technology or software with an investment bankWhy us?You will work on real-world problems and make an impact by protecting our customers from cyber threats.
