nn Why This Role Is Valuable nn nn The CISO is responsible for providing leadership and strategic vision across Revantage and portfolio companies to create an adaptable, secure operating business environment.

The CISO will direct the overall planning and execution of enterprise security programs and applications.

The ideal CISO must have strong executive presence, a risk management mindset and strong technical background, able to fully understand communicate threads, risk mitigation and technical controls to lead a team of security professionals through company obligations and defenses.

As the leader of the information security program, the CISO must establish effective oversight and controls of the data platform and data privacy policies, company protocols and appropriate collaboration across teams.

nn nn How You Add Value nn Lead the information security function across Revantage to ensure consistent and high-quality information security management in support of the business strategy and objectives Develop an information security vision and strategy that is aligned to organizational priorities and enables and facilitates the organization’s business objectives Provide guidance and counsel to the CIO and portfolio company leaders in defining objectives for information security while mitigating risks Proven technical experience in all facets of predicting, preventing, detecting and responding to cyber or information security vulnerabilities Experience with regulatory requirements and building security programs Identify, design and implement company security road-map and new security policies Ensure security requirements of all Data, Applications, Cloud and Infrastructure are compliant with information security and compliance standards Operate as a strategic partner with the Revantage legal team Demonstrate active executive presence Execute with consistent strategic process and governance orientation Develop, implement and monitor a strategic, comprehensive information security program to ensure appropriate levels of confidentiality, integrity, availability, safety, privacy and recovery of information assets owned, controlled or/and processed by the organization Facilitate a metrics and reporting framework to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the program Work effectively with business units to facilitate information security risk assessment and risk management processes Schedule periodic security audits Oversee identity and access management Evaluate the cybersecurity capabilities of 3rd parties and vendors to assess residual risk Ensure that disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place and tested nn What You Bring To The Role nn nn Required: nn Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent discipline Minimum of 12 years of information security, risk management and IT experience Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role Proven track record and experience in developing information security policies and procedures, as well as successfully executing programs that meet the objectives of excellence in a dynamic business environment Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, ITIL, COBIT as well as those from NIST, including 800-53 and Cybersecurity Framework nn Preferred: nn Master’s Degree Professional security management certification, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or other similar credentials.
