Job Description Summary:
The PPC Revolving Products team is responsible for the open-end credit products within the PayPal Credit suite of credit products. These products are available in two countries (US & UK) and continue to grow to other strategic markets that PayPal has a presence in.
Job Description:
The Senior Product Manager (PM) will be responsible for managing, designing, and building world-class credit products and experiences. The PM will be responsible for:
- managing the entire life cycle of products from product design, solution design, to build, and implementation
- the performance of product and the KPI’s related to his/her product. The PM will be tasked to identify opportunities to improve the product and manage KPI’s.
- working closely with multi-functional areas across PayPal and different regions, including business and marketing partners, legal, compliance, and risk
- managing backlogs and determining roadmap prioritization, writing stories, and other typical agile processes.
- working closely with dev teams in an agile environment.
The ideal candidate is an end-to-end product manager with a successful track record of:
- Collaborating across a diverse group of stakeholders (e.g. credit business partners, legal, ops, risk/compliance, UX designers, user research, internal product managers, etc.)
- Defining product requirements and leading the successful execution of initiatives
- Engaging closely with engineering and architecture to help determine the best technical implementation/design while balancing time-to-market needs.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams and external partners to design, build, launch, and market new payment capabilities
- Using A/B Testing, analytics, market research, usability studies, and competitive analysis to drive decision making
- Defining and proactively monitoring key performance metrics to support and inform product decisions.
- Engaging in problem solving with analytics to determine trends and root causes.
- Partnering with Legal, Privacy, and Compliance teams to ensure the products we deliver are within regulatory boundaries.
- Defining a product launch plan for your area, including identifying new opportunities as well as maintaining a rolling marketing roadmap of projects or iterations.
Minimum Required Skills/Qualifications :
- Minimum of a BS/BA is required, MBA or MS preferred
- 4-6 years of professional experience
- Experienced product manager with a minimum of 3-5 years of product experience
- Ability to work with a wide range of functions ranging from business experts to developers
- History of leading and executing in fast-paced, high-growth, uncertain environments
- Comfortable using data and analytics to inform product decisions
- Ability to lead cross-functional groups and drive action
- Strong communication skills
- Strong understanding of business KPI’s and the ability to drive them
- Experience in an agile development environment
