One of the top companies to work for in Chicago is seeking a highly organized and self-motivated Project Coordinator to add to their team. The Project Coordinator will lead and manage the firm’s IT staff, ensuring all technology projects are completed on-time and on-budget. Additional responsibilities will include interfacing with and overseeing vendors and third party consultants on all expansion developments and installations. The salary for this role $60-65k based on experience.
Responsibilities of the Project Coordinator:
- Compose plans for technology allocation for companywide locations; manage and maintain inventory
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Develop a detailed and comprehensive project plan to monitor and track progress; measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs; maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Meet budgetary objectives, and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
- Additional tasks and projects as needed
Job Requirements:
Requirements of the Project Coordinator:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years’ project management experience in a corporate setting
- Experience in technology project management or retail highly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Impeccable professional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience leading a team, and successful history of delivering on-time and on-budget project results
- Highly self-motivated and forward-thinking, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
