nnOur Marketing Manager will be an integral part of this team and will create proposals, presentations, and other materials for the development and implementation of the marketing plan.

The Marketing Manager will serve as marketing generalist, supporting strategy development and plan execution; partner to business development, attending client/ industry events and leading the creation of sales journey materials; voice of marketing on the project teams and driving jobsite marketing.

This role will be required to collaborate with internal stakeholders, business development, the creative team and vendors to accomplish assigned projects.

• Organize and lead proposal teams in partnership with our operational leaders.nn nn
• Develop and execute winning RFQ and RFP responses, actively leading and delivering at all stages of proposal development including writing, editing, and visual communication.nn nn
• Write and/or edit compelling proposal content that directly responds to questions in the RFQ or RFP.nn nn
• Maintain full ownership for delivering a compliant proposal document.nn nn
• Develop and edit presentation materials for proposal team interviews with clients.

Initiate presentation preparation and critique public speaking skills.nn nn
• Maintain corporate brand standards across all marketing deliverables, including effectively implementing the company’s proposal and presentation templates.nn nn
• Develop and execute marketing campaigns around specific messages and targets.nn nn
• Maintain company information, materials, and associated Marketing databases for all projects and personnel.nn nn
• Assist with organizing promotional events.nn nn
• Promote content on social networks and monitor engagement.nn nn
• Coordinate photoshoots of completed projects and assist in final photo selection process.nn nn
• Update website as needed.nn nn
• Support the creation and implementation of any communications plan(s) for our Chicago and Nashville offices.nn nn nn nnRequired Qualificationsnn nn n nn nn
• Four plus years of relevant and successful proposal management experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry.nn nn
• Bachelor’s degree with a major in Communications, English, Business, Political Science, or other relevant focus of study in writing, communication, and critical analysis.nn nn
• Proven experience coordinating and managing complicated proposal efforts.nn nn
• Technical writing background and/or experience in marketing for professional services.nn nn
• Proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite (primarily InDesign and Illustrator) for professional document design, layout, and production.nn nn nn nnDesired Skills and Traitsnn nn n nn nn
• Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills, and the ability to coordinate the activities of various team members when faced with multiple deadlines.nn nn
• Demonstrated ability to write and communicate in a clear and compelling manner, with a strong command of English grammar and attention to detail.nn nn
• A good eye for visualization, layout, and graphic design to facilitate appealing and effective communication using desktop publication software.nn nn
• Extreme attention to detail.nn nn
• Experience networking professionally with clients and industry prospects.nn nn
• Creativity and resourcefulness, with the ability to execute creative ideas effectively.nn nn
• Confident personality with the ability to think strategically and help teams to develop sound marketing, pursuit and proposal strategies.nn nn

• Additional associate or bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or other relevant AEC discipline.nn nn
• Master’s degree in a relevant focus of study in construction, writing, communication, or critical analysis.nn nn
• Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM)nn nn n nn
