Inside Sales Manager

This is a Full-time position in Chicago, IL posted February 12, 2021.

We’re excited to announce our newly created position in our Chicago sales team, they will be responsible for the daily supervision, development, and results of the Chicago Inside Sales team. They will be expected to provide product knowledge, structured processes, and call feedback to develop each individual team member. They will partner with Outside Sales management teams and internal Marketing professionals to set priorities and delegate work. The position will be accountable for analyzing processes, making recommendations, and implementing changes to ensure continual improvement is achieved. The aim of the game is to provide the highest grade of quality and service to our customers and it starts with this team! 

What you will do?

  • Utilize quantifiable metrics to measure and communicate daily performance to the team
  • Effective developing, mentoring and training of team ensuring time and resources are effectively utilized
  • Cultivate strong team performance to achieve sales budget
  • Lead in on-boarding and training initiatives to engage and acclimate new team members
  • Strive to meet and exceeding sales budget
  • Successfully build and maintain a “team” relationship within sales, operations and customers
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical processes and product understanding
  • Act as the point of escalation for questions/concerns
  • Take a big picture perspective when making decisions and problem solving

What we are looking fo?

  • 2 – 3 years’ experience managing a sales team, preferably in a high volume inbound/outbound call center environment; exceptional results and ability to create a positive work environment required  +
  • 2 – 4 years’ experience with a successful sales track record as an individual contributor
  • Experience developing and executing successful sales strategies that align with business initiatives and sales target goals
  • Experience driving call center activities with lead generation tools, specifically emails and web leads and campaigns (developed within or external to Call Center) with minimal support from marketing division
  • Have the ability to understand the lead generation process and interpret lead qualification metrics
  • Strong critical thinking, interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and multitasking environment
  • Proven ability to interface with multiple departments inside and outside of home office
  • Strong organizational and process skills
  • Experience developing and executing sales strategies that align with business initiatives 
  • Excel and Salesforce skills highly desired
