Hazardous Waste Sales Manager

This is a Full-time position in Chicago, IL posted March 1, 2021.

n Role Purpose: n nAt the core of this role is your ability to lead and successfully drive commercial outcomes in a key market segment for Daniels Health – Hazardous Waste and Controlled Substance Disposal.  The role will work closely with key marketing, operational and integration stakeholders as Daniels Health targets further growth in this new market.  You will be responsible for providing expert clinical and product category management and establish a compelling market value proposition and pricing plan working with the commercial team to compatible with Daniels Health strategic business goals.  n Requirements Provide comprehensive clinical product and category management expertise to develop Daniels Health market segments Organizational responsibility for architecting and creating clarity, alignment and engagement with product strategy, pricing model and over all go to market strategy Work closely with key stakeholders, marketing, and sale leaders to develop market value proposition compatible and in conjunction with Daniels overall offering.

  Prepare a strong commercial pricing model for all B2B customers and distribution networks Monitor and report on competitive offerings and marketplace developments Drive profitability, monitor and provide regular reporting to manage business revenue targets Ensure compliance and effective regulatory management for controlled substance disposal Manage all distribution relationships and networks, including identifying and establishing new relationships, to provide an effective network to support distribution Develop subject matter excellence of the product range and competitor landscape Skillfully manage transfer of knowledge post integration from key stakeholders Operationally support success of division through nominated operations head Build effective relationships through communication and education to drive sales through an engaged internal sales workforce.

Maximize sales potential through sales team to leverage current and future customer base with the inclusion products into GPO contracts.

Take custody and effectively drive success of the ‘mail back’ program.

Proactively manage risk, anticipate potential issues, and implement appropriate mitigations to category management Ad hoc tasks as required or tasks in accordance with growth, skills, and experience  Requirements/Skills Tertiary achievement or appropriate experience in a relevant controlled substance field 10 plus years’ experience in Controlled Substance Disposal Space / Medical Industry Sales experience into Healthcare market Demonstrated experience in launching new products Demonstrated commercial acumen building and executing a product and pricing strategy suitable for distribution and B2B customers Experience in planning, leading, and supporting implementing new products to market Previous experience building and managing large distribution networks Ability to be objective and think critically and in consideration of leading practices that enable successful product to market plans Demonstrated leadership and influence skills including ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional management without formal reporting relationships Aspirational ability to understand Daniels Health as a business and strategic business goals Strong interpersonal skills, maturity and good commercial judgment and capability of communicating with a diverse range of individuals.

Ability to effectively communicate at all levels Ability to build relationships with to successfully implement clinal product Strong time management skills with the ability to work autonomously and make decisions as required Demonstrate high level of analytical skills.  Ability to work with complexity and under pressure Results focused, versatile, organized and has good people management and development skills with a “down to earth” communication style Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done n Learn more about us and our mission!
