Job Summary

The Vice President of Strategic Partnerships will lead the development, implementation, and strategic management for an assigned set of major prospects, customers and partners to achieve the required retention and revenue goals. This individual will lead a team of experienced business development professionals, and report to our Executive Vice President of Sales and Account Services. We are seeking a charismatic, visionary, strategic leader with a proven track record of building, motivating, and driving results through a successful sales and marketing team while also individually closing and renewing large accounts.   

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales and retention strategies that successfully achieve revenue goals across existing Company behavioral health, wellness, and absence management product lines
  • Analyze the competitive landscape and strategically develop and lead a sales strategy that consistently beats the competition
  • Ensure that the Company brand achieves optimal market penetration and is recognized as a global industry leader by key brokers, decision-makers, and consumers
  • Partner with internal resources to recruit, develop, manage and provide direction to a team of business development  professionals
  • Establish and build strong working relationships with business leaders and team members
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure Company is strategically positioned for continual growth and remains at the leading edge of the industry

Job Qualifications

  • BS/BA required; Master’s degree a plus
  • Proven track record of developing effective sales and retention strategies, and closing complex business accounts and exceeding revenue targets using a highly consultative approach
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
  • Broad functional experience in areas of strategic planning, account management, business development, market research and planning
  • Travel for sales presentation meetings, as necessary
  • Excellent business acumen, with high energy, sense of urgency, and can do attitude
