Talent Strategist, Organizational Effectiveness

The OE & Talent Strategist is an internal consulting position that combines strategy and execution for various organizational effectiveness and talent needs across various business units.

This role will partner closely with HR Business Partners and their Business Leader clients to identify and craft solutions that ensure that we have the organizational and talent enablers in place to support our business goals and strategies.
This role requires creativity and agility to blend strategic foresight with “roll up your sleeves” execution through a design thinking approach, spending time with leaders and HR partners to clarify programs, generate and test potential ideas and iterate over time.

This role requires exceptional levels of collaboration with the business, HR Business Partners and the HR COEs, including Learning & Development, Talent Planning and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

This role will also contribute to the processes, tools and educational efforts to develop and deliver enterprise-wide Organizational Effectiveness and Talent solutions to continue to evolve our capabilities.

The OE & Talent Strategist will report directly to the Global Head of Talent Strategy and Solutions, who is based in Chicago.
Major Duties:

• Serves as primary conduit for assigned HR Business Partner teams in the OE & Talent space.

Partners with HR Business Partners and Business Leaders to assess needs and collaboratively develop comprehensive solutions.

• Manage a portfolio of mid-to-large scale, complex organizational development and design initiatives, leveraging subject matter expertise and consultative skills.

Partnering with the HR Business Partners to lead, design and deliver these initiatives.

Examples might include: organizational restructuring, strategic talent planning, pipeline development strategies, enabling diverse and inclusive workforce, etc.

• Develops and executes on a measurement strategy to gather quantitative and qualitative measures of impact and results; provides continuous feedback to program owners and partners to enhance our effectiveness

• Supports the continuing education and capability development of HR and Business Leaders through knowledge sharing, leading educational sessions and leading discussions with leaders to advance the dialogue.

• Contribute to the ongoing development and maturity of the Talent Strategy & Solutions team by working with global team members to develop or enhance our products, services, tools and capabilities to best support business needs.

Help measure effectiveness and lead educational efforts to increase HR’s capabilities.
Experience/ Qualifications

• Experience leading organizational effectiveness/talent initiatives

• University Degree in related field or equivalent experience

• Minimum of 8 years in Organizational Effectiveness, Talent Management, Organizational Development, HR or related experience.

• Proven experience partnering with senior executives

• Experience in Management Consulting

• Global Experience

• Experience in an HR Business Partner role

• Experience in Financial Services sector

• Design Thinking or Agile experience

• SPHR, SHRM-CP or other related certifications
