Palletizer FULL-TIME nn$14/hr nn nnThe following is a list of specific duties which are considered the essential functions of this job.

The list is not exhaustive, as all positions at the Company are dynamic.

The employee who occupies this position is expected to assume any/all duties assigned by management irrespective of whether such duties are specifically included in this list.nn nnWork within and adhere to GPI’s core values of Integrity, Respect, Accountability, Relationships and Teamwork.nGenerate system load tags and/or customer specific tags.nProvide daily load tags to Department Lead.nComplete case sealer production report.nSupply corrugated cases to glue lines.nStack loads to ensure safety of product, person and according to palletizing specifications.nStretch-wrap all finished loads.nStage finished material in warehouse.nSweep area and keep general warehouse department clean.nLift/carry/push/pull pallets within the warehouse to designated locations manually or with pallet jack.nThe Palletizer will check paperboard in boxes and verify correct product numbers.

Load tags are then placed on each box.nThe Palletizer will lift boxes from conveyor with bilateral hands and place onto pallets.nCommunicate required information to co-workers and manager.nMaintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.nFollow safety rules and regulations.nFollow department and company policies and procedures.nReport all food safety and quality problems to the Operator, Department Lead, Manager or Quality Team.nMay be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.nn nnBACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:nn nnExperience: None (entry-level).nn nnEDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE:nn nnHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.nMust be able to speak, read and write Englishnn nnSCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:nn nnSchedules are up to 8 or 12-hour shifts on alternate days with rotating weekends off.

However, employees must have the ability to work alternate schedules and overtime that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends and be punctual while doing so.nSome Departments/Jobs may run a M-F 8-hour Shift Schedule.nMust be willing and able to work overtime.nn nnPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:nn nnSitting or standing, depending on changing job assignment, for extended periods.nAwkward and/or repetitive movements.nRoutine Lifting up to 35 lbs.nOccasional Lifting up to 50 lbs.nPush/pull pallet jack with up to 50-70 lb.
