Mark Anthony Brewing is hiring a to be responsible for the packaging line engineering& design components for packaging lines& equipment of greenfieldor brownfield brewery projects to ensure consistency and standardization across new& existing breweries, including infrastructure improvements and other critical initiatives.As a Sr.

Packaging System Engineer, your responsibilities will include:Help execute and coordinate the third-party design on large projects, and independently execute smaller projects, with support of the Corporate Engineering team.

Work in concert with other departments as well as the building contractor(s) to define project scope and deliverable.Management of the packaging components of small to large size facility builds or modifications.

Manage and track project scope, schedule and spending.Review and make recommendations on supplier proposals and articulate the advantages and disadvantages of proposed instrumentation, including improvement, innovation and new technology opportunities.

Contribute to the design innovation of the breweriesVerify the correct application of engineering principles and of the technical specifications of new and existing equipment.

Drive standardization and serve as a technical liaison between the manufacturing plants.Ensure compliance to local codes, and balance design with both manufacturing needs and project spend.Effectively transition projects to production.

Partner with maintenance to investigate issues as they arise and implement solutions to maintain and improve operations.

Work with teams to address issues to improve overall functionality of a process, reduce waste, and drive process improvement.

Assist with development of best practices and tools for project execution and management.The Sr.

Packaging System Engineer position is well-suited for you if you:Are able to read and interpret engineering and architectural plans and schematics.Have proven engineering design, process engineering& project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects, as the position is responsible from concept through process validation.Have excellent communication/presentation skills, with an ability to negotiate with vendors, contractors and consultants.Can work effectively in a team environment with demonstrated success in influencing at all levels inside as well as outside the company.

Able to lead and prioritize different projects at multiple plant locations and actively interact with multi-functional teamsAre able to mentor& collaborate with other engineers.Qualified candidates will have:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or similar field.At least 8 years of project engineering experience in a manufacturing or systems integration company or manufacturing design& build consultancy.At least 4 years’ experience focused on packaging line design and project management of large capital initiatives including industrial packaging automation and/or conveyor systems design and system engineering; engineering robotics, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical systems in various manufacturing processes preferred.Experienced with OEMs, machine design in a production environment, production flow management, production simulation, production analysisProficiency in current computer software– Microsoft Office, Auto CAD, Revit, MS projects.the ability to travel up to 50% travel, and up to 100% during project install and startup& commissioning phasesRelocation Available?
