Responsibilities This is a remote role that can only be based in the United States projected to commence in Spring 2021 PMO Performance and Controls Lead will function at the level of a Guidehouse Associate Director.

The PMO Performance and Controls Lead is responsible for managing projects from cultivation to completion, driving impactful and successful results for clients.

This includes development of the strategy based on the specific client needs and leading teams to implement the solution.

In this role, you will oversee the activities of the designated project team and support the day-to-day management of the client relationship.

You will effectively develop strategic solutions, manage work plans, staffing, deadlines and budgets for multiple projects simultaneously.

Your work products are high-quality and client-ready.

In this visible role, you will lead team meetings and guide, manage, and coach staff consultants, providing constructive feedback on project participation and overall career development.

You will collaborate with Directors and Partners, keeping them abreast of project progress and important developments.

As a PMO Performance and Controls Lead, you will participate in sales initiatives and drive practice development.

Responsibilities : * Manages the definition and implementation of the performance management and reporting processes to meet client and regulatory compliance requirements * Coordinate regular project-level status reporting (financials, schedules, status, risks and issues) * Summarizing project level information into program level reporting * Analyses program performance trends * Develops, tracks and controls monthly reporting for on schedule and on budget earned value * Leads weekly tracking, updating and reporting on actuals to plan * Conduct financial and schedule variance/trend analysis at the program level * Define and manage control processes for issues, risks and change management * Tracking and management of program-level risks, issues and decisions * Drive program-level risk and issue escalation, mitigation and resolution plans We encourage career development and hiring for the long term.

Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree * 8+ years’ project controls experience excluding software and IT projects * Project Management Professional (PMP) training or certification * Experience defining and managing control processes for issues, risks and change management * Solid working experience with MS Project and/or Primavera P6 for schedule performance tracking and reporting * Demonstrated working experience with Budget Performance tracking and reporting * Work experience with SAP financials or similar * Construction and/or system delivery experience in a regulated industry for large construction project(s) exceeding $50MM.

* Exceptional Data Visualization Skills * Ability to confidently communicate with Executive Management on program progress to plan, issues, risks and changes * Ability to travel to client site locations as needed Preferred Qualifications In addition to the above qualifications: * Master’s degree or MBA * Utilities Strong experience with Utility Transmissions & Distributions construction project management * Systems knowledge of PowerPlan, WMIS, Stakeout for utilities construction planning and development * Management consulting experience in the Utilities industry * Earned Value Analysis (EVA) experience * Large construction project(s) experience ranging from $1.7 Billion to $5+ Billion.
