Aon is looking for a Senior Intellectual Property Broker As part of an industry-leading team, you will help deliver innovative and effective solutions within our Intellectual Property Solutions Group from our Chicago, IL; San Francisco, CA;or New York, NY office locations.

As a Senior Broker, you will report directly to the Chief Broking Officer.Aon’s Intellectual Property Solutions team is part of our New Ventures Group (NVG), which accelerates innovation on behalf of clients and expands Aon’s addressable market.

As an IP Solutions Team member, you will be a key part of this process.Your Impact as a Senior BrokerJob Responsibilities:Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the Intellectual Property insurancemarketplace, products and services, developing productive business relationships withkey insurance underwritersResponsible for building and expanding the current market in support of current and future intellectual property productsDemonstrate knowledge of the Intellectual Property consulting and risk management capabilitiesResponsible for identification and cross-sell of Intellectual Property service opportunitiesResponsible for all aspects of client service for assigned book of business including, billing, policy collection, review, and transmittal in accordance with established departmental service standardsRetain and grow assigned clients/prospectsFacilitate the compilation of submission information in conjunction with appropriate external client contacts and internal Aon clientsProvide broking status and continuous support and service to clients during entirebroking process and entire period of engagement by client (this is a continuousprocess)Demonstrate remarkable skill with all elements of client communications, including presentations and technical writingUtilize and teach effective negotiation skills.Establish understanding of claims administration process and utilize the claims and legal advocacy group for claim administration and counsel as per established protocols and as directed by senior team membersDrive utilization of all available technology throughout broking process and clientservice processUnderstand the causes of E& O and avoid and adopt practices to reduce exposureReplicate effective products/solutions and develop broking opportunitiesProactively provide constructive feedback to colleagues on best practices and opportunities to improve our servicesYou Bring Knowledge and ExpertiseRequired Experience:5+ years of Financial Lines or Intellectual Property insurance brokering, Intellectual Property law experience and/or brokering or underwriting experience within commercial lines of coverage (i.E.
