Neuroscience Research Scientist

A clinical stage Pharmaceutical company is seeking Neuroscience Research Scientist to join their team to help with their drug development efforts. Preferred candidates will thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This person will be challenged to take on multiple projects at once.

Day to Day Responsibilities: 

• Plan, Execute, and Analyze experiments 
• Culturing human cell lines including stem cell neuronal lines and primary human lines
• Work cross-functionally in coordinating & executing in vitro experiments
• Perform quantitative analysis through IHC (immunohistochemistry), rt-PCR, SDS Page, Western blot, ELISA, etc.
• Record data & complete report writings on findings

Qualifications:

• BS or MS in Neuroscience, Biotechnology, or related degree
• Proficiency running various protein, gene, & cell assays
• 2-5 years’ experience in the life science industry
• Research experience in industry or quick ability to adapt to industry setting preferred
