Client Strategist – Digital Recruitment Marketing


This is a Full-time position in Chicago, IL posted March 1, 2021.

n nJob Description n nThe Client Strategist manages the recruitment marketing plan for a book of exciting and complex clients.

The Client Strategist must clearly understand their clients’ recruitment needs and goals.

Specific responsibilities include strategic media planning, execution, and account management.

This position plays a key role in developing positive, trusting, communicative relationships with our clients, and the overall success and long-term growth of the relationship.

n nKey Responsibilities: n n Manage the primary client relationship in your book of business.

Help in the retention and growth of each assigned account.

Work closely with our clients on an ongoing basis to discuss goals, identify opportunities, manage budgets, and recommend recruitment marketing services.

Understand and clearly communicate the status of the relationship, and the campaign performance, for every assigned account.

Provide excellent customer service, and be responsive to all client needs/requests.

Use data and analytics to improve effectiveness of each clients’ recruitment marketing plan.

Coordinate, prepare, and facilitate regular client meetings and performance reviews.

Develop a fundamental understanding of various industry technologies
– applicant tracking systems, job distribution services, Google Analytics, etc.

Proactively gain industry knowledge through agency resources, individual research, reading industry news, attending events, and networking with industry organizations.

n nRequired Skills & Experience: n n Experience in client strategy and/or account management.

Demonstrate ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.

Demonstrate ability to identify opportunities and scope targeted solutions.

Strong negotiator with experience handling budgets or buying ads.

Deep understanding of media agencies and performance marketing.

Passion for providing excellent customer/client service.

Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively and independently in a deadline-driven environment.

Extraordinary written, verbal and presentation skills with acute attention to detail.

Ability to develop and deliver compelling presentations using data and analytics.

Advanced proficiency with Excel.

Previous Agency experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
