Aon is looking for a Client Support/Risk Analyst Reinsurance Analytics in Chicago, ILImpact Forecasting (IF) is looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Risk Consultant to join our Business Development team.

Our team builds client relationships by developing a detailed knowledge of their risk management needs and structuring solutions that use IF’s catastrophe modeling technology.

We aim to provide best in class service and support to ensure clients obtain maximum value from our modeling solutions.Job Responsibilities:Perform risk analysis projects using IF modeling solutions for insurers, brokers, reinsurers and other financial intermediaries; Collaborate with other IF colleagues to support and manage clients licensing IF modeling solutions; Develop a deep understanding of client needs, IF solutions and industry participants to effectively communicate best practices; Become proficient using IF’s models and ELEMENTS software; Work with IF software and R& D teams to provide client support and oversight; Train clients on best practices for using IF solutions; Communicate with senior client contacts to manage analysis projects, deliverables and timelines; Develop strong time management approaches to juggle multiple tasks and projects; Work closely with business development and senior management colleagues to develop and maintain client-specific performance objectives; Support business development goals to grow use of IF solutions by identifying and developing new business opportunities; Attend and represent IF at industry events and conferences.Understanding of catastrophe modeling products and expertise in catastrophe modeling products like RMS, AIR or IF-ELEMENTS preferred; Good knowledge of MS Office, Excel and SQL.Client management, collaboration and decision-making skills for working with multiple stakeholders; Analytical abilities to understand client issues and develop technical solutions; Self-motivationand confidence that results in a ‘can-do’ attitude; Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (both verbal and written); Demonstrated commitment to outstanding client service; Ability to direct colleagues to ensure high quality and timely deliverables; Ability to produce high quality work with few errors, complete tasks accurately and develop the ability to double check work before passing on to others for review; Complete tasks on time or ahead of schedule; being aware of timelineand expectations of clients and colleagues while providing regular team updates; Ability to seekout work when not at full capacity, particularly when others are at or over capacity; Take ownership and responsibility for tasks, be driven independently and proactively; Respectful and patient when dealing with clients and colleagues; Observe, listen, and learn during client or internal meetings and calls, anticipate the questions that will be asked and be prepared to answer if called upon; Read and becomefamiliar with publications from Impact Forecasting and Aon Analytics.Understanding of catastrophe modeling products and expertise in catastrophe modeling products like RMS, AIR or IF-ELEMENTS preferred; Good knowledge of MS Office, Excel and SQLEducation and Experience:Bachelor’s degree IT, engineering, mathematics or related business analysis/development field or equivalent; MBA/master’s degree a plus3+ years in consulting, insurance or data analytics functions, catastrophe modeling experience preferredUnderstanding of catastrophe modeling products and expertise in catastrophe modeling products like RMS, AIR or IF-ELEMENTS preferred; Good knowledge of MS Office, Excel and SQL.We offer youAcompetitivetotal rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with agrowingworldwide organization.Our Colleague Experience:From helping clients gain access to capital after natural disasters, to creating access to health care and retirement for millions, Aon colleagues empower results for our clients, communities, and each other every day.
