SummaryThe Practice Group Specialist is responsible for the administrative support of a specific practice group, along with standard billable expectations.

The Practice Group Specialists primary duties include working independently and with practice group lawyers and staff to develop and maintain knowledge resources, further client relationships, and identify and assist in the implementation of appropriate professional development of new hires, including associates and paralegals; identify training for the practice group as needed.Duties and Responsibilities Work with practice group head and Paralegal Manager to analyze practice group operations and develop efficiencies to enhance the practice group development; Manage and maintain the practice group collaboration site and document library, providing reports as appropriate regarding the documents collected and any gaps that may arise; Responsible for maintaining and enhancing client relationships; Evaluate, identify, and document practice group specific institutional and general practice group knowledge; Identify, create, and facilitate appropriate training programs for lawyers, paralegals and staff within the practice group; Perform research and due diligence; share any relevant updates to ensure the practice group remains current; The Practice Group Specialist assigned to the Global Finance Practice Group will also: Manage and supervise UCC filings with consideration for deal specific compliance; Manage and supervise all aspects of closing requirements including obtaining corporate organizational documents, drafting ancillary closing documents, coordinating post-closing activities and requirements and prepare and distribute closing sets; Obtain, prepare, review and analyze lien summaries and lien search reportsQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the Duties and Responsibilities (Duties) above satisfactorily and meet the requirements below.
